Diamond Marie Hill, of Woodbridge, got out of her car and assaulted the driver who apparently rear-ended her on Old Bridge Road near Harbor Road on Thursday, Dec. 29, county police said.
During an argument, Hill struck the victim causing her to fall to the ground, then kicked her while she was down multiple times, police said. Hill then threw the victim's phone, got back in her car and fled the scene, according to police.
She returned to the scene later, where she was detained.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where her injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. Hill was charged with malicious wounding, driving on a suspended license, hit and run, and destruction of property.
